About the Accommodation

The spacious vacation home in the immediate vicinity of the lake (approx. 150m) invites you to linger comfortably with modern and high-quality furnishings. Whether a family vacation with children at the lake or some romantic days for two, here you are exactly right.

Facilities

The vacation home sleeps 6 people. The rooms are each equipped with a double bed (180x200). The kitchen offers all the amenities for cozy cooking evenings, including an oven. Upstairs there is a spacious bathroom with bathtub, shower and sauna. The bathroom on the first floor is a guest WC and has a washbasin and toilet. The sunny terraces allow you to enjoy breakfast together outdoors or spend beautiful evenings at sunset. - Even in the rain thanks to the canopy. In the cold winter months, the sauna and wood-burning stove offer the opportunity to enjoy the peace and quiet. The house has been ready to move into since the beginning of September 2021. It has underfloor heating, electric shutters, high-quality flooring in the bedrooms, tiled floors in other rooms and a storage room on the first floor. A travel cot for toddlers/babies and a high chair are also available. Dogs are welcome in the house! The garden is fully fenced and can be locked. In addition to a lockable shed for bicycles, there are parking spaces for 2 cars and a wallbox for electric cars (billed separately).

Surrounding area

There is a small Edeka supermarket and a bakery within walking distance in Harkebrügge. The distance to the center of Barßel is about 6 km. There you will find various shops, restaurants and a boat harbor with a great playground for children! Canoe tours are offered from Barßel to Harkebrügge. There is a barefoot park in the immediate vicinity of the lake. Walks around the lake and adventurous forest trails are particularly worth mentioning here. Harkebrügge is close to Oldenburg (25 km), Bad Zwischenahn (20 km) and Papenburg with the famous Meyer shipyard (38 km). The North Sea (80 km) and the Dutch border (60 km) are also not far away. If possible, take your bicycles with you, as the area offers many beautiful cycle paths along waterways. The bikes can be parked in the lockable shed right next to the house. There is also a bike rental service in Barßel. As this is a family vacation area, loud events are not permitted. Smoking in the house is not permitted.
